The finale of the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) is coming near. At the VCT Champions 2021, the first Valorant world champions will be crowned.
Sixteen best Valorant teams worldwide will vie for a share of the USD 1 million prize pool and the Valorant Champions title. Check out the details below about VCT Champions in Berlin.
VCT Champions 2021 Game Format
The Valorant Champions 2021 is divided into two stages: Group Stage and Knockout Stage (Playoffs). Moreover, the recently released agent Chamber will not be available at this event. Check out the tournament format for each stage below.
Group Stage
- The group stage includes four (4) groups of four (4) teams in a double-elimination format.
- The top two (2) teams from four (4) groups advance to the Playoffs.
- All matches will be a best-of-three (Bo3) series.
Knockout Stage (Playoffs)
- Eight (8) teams will play in a single-elimination bracket.
- All matches are best-of-three (Bo3), except for the grand finals.
- Grand Finals is a best-of-five (Bo5) series.

Valorant Champions 2021 Schedule
Below are important dates for the inaugural global Valorant competition.
The group stage will start on December 1 to 7. Meanwhile, the knockout stage (playoffs) is divided into three phases:
Quarterfinals: December 8 to 9
Semifinals: December 11
Grand finals: December 12
Since the tournament will be held in Germany, the dates for watching the event in the Philippines will be different. The group stage will run from December 1 to 8, while playoffs will take place from December 9 to 13.
