PUBG: New State has launched globally for Android and iOS devices on November 11, 2021. The mobile battle royale game was first announced in February this year.

The storyline is based in the year 2051, several years after the events of PUBG on PC, and thus the players have access to futuristic weapons and vehicles.
While the game has a similar feel to PUBG Mobile, it boasts improved graphics and a slew of new features. This includes weapon customization, the addition of new vehicles, and the ability to call back dead teammates, among others. You can also even recruit downed enemy players into your team.
The game currently offers a battle royale mode, training grounds, and deathmatch mode. The battle royale mode features a revamped version of the original PUBG's Erangel map and a new state called Troi. You can play the BR mode in first- or third-person perspective, alone or with a squad. Meanwhile, the team deathmatch mode will be played on the Station map.
Krafton has also increased the game's security against hackers. Given the frequency with which players have complained about their accounts being hacked in the other PUBG title, the developers have made strenuous efforts to minimize hacking in this new PUBG title.
PUBG: New State will not support emulators and will incorporate other anti-tamper technology to keep hackers out. Additional safeguards such as secondary passwords, OTP verification, and two-factor authentication will be implemented to safeguard players' accounts.
A week after its official global launch, PUBG New State has crossed 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store. In addition, it claimed the rank 1 in over 165 countries, including the United States, South Korea, Germany, India, and Saudi Arabia, among others.
Moreover, the game encountered several post-launch issues, including server crashes and smartphone bricking following its launch. However, it appears as though the developers addressed and resolved those issues with a couple of updates. On the day of the game's launch, several users complained about unresponsive loading screens, inability to join a match, and other issues.
To recall, PUBG New State held its second Alpha test in August in several countries in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa.
