PLDT Home to offer Fibr 10000 Mbps plan
PLDT Home has revealed that it would offer 10,000 Mbps or 10 Gbps fiber-optic internet service, the first in the Philippines.
According to PLDT Home, the Fibr 10000 Mbps plan will offer users an ultra-fast WiFi speed. In addition, there will be no buffering while streaming 4K/8K UHD videos.
Its WiFi coverage can also cover up to 6,000 sq ft. The telco also mentioned that the said internet plan enables its users to connect to all their streaming services on multiple devices simultaneously.
Moreover, PLDT Home claims that the latest Fibr plan has an 8 Gbps average speed and a 3 Gbps minimum speed at 80% reliability.
Meanwhile, PLDT hasn't released the pricing of this newest plan yet.
According to a GMA News report, PLDT Home will first roll out the Fibr 10 Gbps plan in Metro Manila in December this year.
It will further expand to other key cities such as Cebu and Davao in 2022.
To recall, PLDT Home has also recently upgraded its Unli Fibr plans.
