Game developer miHoYo has announced that Honkai Impact 3rd 5.3 Update is set to release on December 2, 2021. The version 5.3 update dubbed "Post-Dusk Odyssey" brings a new character, chapter, battlesuits, and more.
Carole Peppers is the striker of Schicksal's 3rd Squad. She's energetic and free-spirited. Moreover, the new character is a MECH-type Valkyrie and Physical SP melee support.
She fights with mechanical fists, delivering relentless attacks and meaty feedback. Notably, Carole's Ultimate allows for character switching, resulting in all three Valkyries staying on the field simultaneously.
Further, Honkai Impact v5.3 will also bring two story segments. The first is Chapter XXVII, which will conclude with "Dusk of the Fool." Next is A Post-Honkai Odyssey's Chapter 2 Prologue dubbed "Before Starfall,'' featuring Bronya and Carole.
Honkai Impact 3rd will also receive some Battlesuit-related additions with the latest patch. Carole's Sweet 'n' Spicy SP Battlesuit will make its debut. Meanwhile, Herrscher of Flamescion will have its first skin called Time Runner. Once the new update goes live, players can get it from Outfit Supply.
The release date of the Honkai Impact 5.3 update is December 2, 2021. The ARPG is available to Android, iOS, and PC.
