Game developer Riot Games has announced that Wild Rift Horizon Cup, which will take place in Singapore, will feature 10 of the best teams worldwide vying for their share of a USD 500,000 prize pool.

Wild Rift Horizon Cup 2021 Overview

Horizon Cup will be the biggest tournament of Wild Rift this year. It will be held from November 13 to 21 at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Ten teams from around the world are qualified for the tournament. Top LoL Wild Rift squads will compete for a share of the USD 200,000 (~ PHP 25 million) prize pool and battle it out to claim the championship title.

Game Format

The game format for the Wild Rift Horizon Cup is as follows.

Group Stage:

• 10 squads are split into 2 groups of 5 teams each.
• All matches will be in a single round-robin format, best-of-three (Bo3) series.
• The top 3 of each group advances to the Playoffs, with the first-placed squad automatically advancing to the semi-finals, while second and third-placed teams will start in the first round of the main event.

Knockout Stage (Playoffs):

• The Playoffs stage will feature 6 teams.
• All matches will be in a single-elimination format.
• Quarterfinals and semi-finals matches are played in a best-of-five (Bo5) series.
• Grand Final is played in a best-of-seven (Bo7) series.
